A new official Canadian portrait of the Queen has been unveiled. Taken at Windsor Castle in March 2019 by photographer Chris Jackson, it shows Her Majesty wearing her Canadian insignia, as Sovereign of the Order of Canada and the Order of Military Merit.

The Queen returns to public duties with the Duke of Cambridge at her side
The Queen has returned to public engagements, seven months after she went into isolation because of the coronavirus pandemic. Her Majesty, accompanied by the Duke of Cambridge, visited the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory at Porton Down in Wiltshire to pay tribute to scientists there for their work.
